Aviation Safety Minor

This program serves as a foundation for those who desire to enhance their knowledge in aviation safety. Students are required to complete 18 credit hours from the courses listed below. All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.0) or better.
Program Goals
Graduates with a Minor in Aviation Safety will be able to:
- Anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and develop control strategies for hazardous conditions and work practices;
- Demonstrate the application of business and risk management concepts;
- Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental aspects of safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, hazardous materials, emergency management, ergonomics and/or human factors
